  1. Use ssh jump feature

I have an NAS and a few other devices at my home with a ssh port opened, but only one has connection from outside for security.

From my office I can use the jump feature from ssh to use the externally available as a bridge to access the others.

Would be of great value for me if Termius did implement this feature.

    Can we have it?

    Thanks for the awesome app!

    Fernando

  2. Fix so that it remembers fingerprints for FreeBSD servers

I use Termius to connect to three hosts; one running OpenBSD 5.8, one running Debian 8.10 and one running FreeBSD 11.1.

Connecting to the OpenBSD and Debian hosts work perfectly, and in the hosts list their entries also show that Termius has recognized what operating system they are running.

When connecting to the FreeBSD server Termius always states that it can’t establish the authenticity of the host. The fingerprint is always the same so it’s a problem with Termius. I’ve not had any problems like this connecting to my server from my desktop computer running OpenSSH client.

    The only thing…

    Hello,

Does the latest update fix the issue? If not please try to create an identity in the Keychain with your username and password. And then attach this identity to your host. This should help.

The next version definitely will work fine.

    Thanks

  4. Access Snippets within a terminal

Like you can quickly access the SFTP feature via the folder button an additional button for the very useful Snippets feature would be great.

  5. Known Hosts management

The list of known hosts seems to purge frequently. Is this a "feature" of the free version or is something else going on? Auto-purging radically reduces my security as it opens me to a MITM attack.

  6. Color theme bug

Latest version for iOS does not remember the chosen theme when reopening the app. I have a saved host with black background and it keeps changing to default white background theme.

  7. Support for SendEnv

One feature I find useful in certain circumstances in SSH is the ability to send environment variables along with one's SSH session. This happens using the `AcceptEnv` server-side sshd configuration and with the `SendEnv` config on the client side.

It would be very useful to add this option to Terminus!

  12. Could the app support ssh host which has no password

    Hi Guys,

I have a router which uses dropbear as the ssh host. But the root user has no password, could this app remove the password from the required parameters?

    Thanks & Best Regards,
    Phoenix

  13. Support for ECDSA and Ed25519 key pairs

We are rolling out new keys which are using either ECDSA or Ed25519 keys. However Termius only supports RSA and DSA keys. I suppose newer libraries already has support for EC-based cryptos as even OS X has built-in support now. Please add support for those types of keys.

There are already separate ideas posted but I still think it's good to explain a bit more...

    There can be 2 reasons:
    1. Unsupported key type.
Termius iOS doesn’t support ECDSA and ED25519 keys now.

    2. Incorrect import.
Please check that you have a private part of the key on the client (app) and the public part is exported to the host.

  15. Cursor movement

    Latest update

The new update is mostly great, but the movement of the cursors and pup/pgdn to its own pop up menu (instead of a menu mode switch) has a real serious problem - the pop up covers exactly the area I'm trying to use - like pulling up the previous command history using the up arrow.

Moving the cursor with your finger is hard - moving 1 character is close to impossible. I'm using an iPad mini 2. How about an auto repeat on holding down the cursor icon, speeding up the longer you press it?

  17. Google, Amazon, or box support

I'm looking in Google Drive, Amazon Drive, and Box. I don't see how I can share a copy with Termius. When I try and "Import with Termius" and tries to open and save as a key file.

If I can't SFTP files from my iPad (which is why I paid for the premium version), how do I get a refund?
I know the file sharing feature works through iTunes, but it's near useless to have to plug a portable device into a computer to help with a file transfer. If the desktop was readily available, I wouldn't need Termius to…

    Hello.
    Thank you for your feedback!

In fact you are able to access Termius local file storage that is used in SFTP session through iTunes file sharing feature. Just connect your device to your PC or Mac, navigate to the Apps section and fin Termius. You should be able to see your stored files there.

As for transferring files between Termius and third party apps – it’s actually possible:

To transfer file from Termius to somewhere else
    - Copy file to local storage. Tap on copied files in local storage. Termius will suggest you a number of available options (a list of apps that allow file importing, such as DropBox, Google Drive and so on.)

To transfer file from somewhere else to Termius
    - Open the app that allows file sharing, for example DropBox. Find the file that you want to share with Termius. Typically there will be a “Share”…

  18. 2FA accessible

Allow for two factor authentication to occur.
