  2. Alternate keyboard layouts (dvorak) broken in recent update

I use an Apple folio keyboard with an iPad Pro, set to the Dvorak layout. With the recent update, Termius follows a standard QWERTY layout, regardless of what the keyboard is set to by the OS.

  3. Enable Right Shift on Bluetooth Keyboards

The fact that the right shift key does not register when using my bluetooth keyboard with Termius is causing a lot of frustration.

It works fine in other apps (including in this feedback form). However, it does not work in shell sessions.

  4. Allow for removal of 'Telnet' option

    Hi there!

I love Termius, but one thing that always irks me is the "SSH(or Mosh)/Telnet/Cancel" dialog that pops up when starting a connection. I will never use Telnet, but only either SSH or Mosh--it'd be great if the SSH or Telnet dialog only popped up if you have Telnet selected as an option in a sever's configuration screen, eliminating a tap when it's not applicable.

    Cheers!

  5. Use Touch ID instead of Pin Code

Most banking and remote logon apps now have the option to use Touch ID instead of a pin code, please update your app to use this option in view of the subscription costs (for premium users). Many thanks and best regards.

  6. Not connecting “Private Key is not selected”, what a bummer. This app used to be great :(

I used this app all the time, now I can’t connect to my server because it just says “Private Key is not selected”, what a bummer. This app was SO amazing. Now it is unusable. Hopefully you guys will be able to fix the issue :(

  7. Version 4.1.0 fails to connect with “Private key is not selected”

I can’t connect via ssh with a username and password anymore. I am not using keys at all. I have an iPhone XS on 12.1.

  9. Don’t ask “which feature to use” if only one is enabled

When setting up a host, there are toggles for SSH and Telnet. If only one of them is enabled, why ask which to use to connect?

I have several hosts configured with just SSH, and I only ever want to connect to them over SSH. Please make it stop asking unless both SSH and Telnet are configured for the host.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I may happen because the host has a parent group (where both shh and telnet are enabled by default). You can switch off telnet in the parent group, and it will fix your problem.

Anyway, maybe it’s not the best user experience so we’ll consider to adjust it. Thanks for pointing that out.

Please let us know if it’s not you case

  15. Use ssh jump feature

I have an NAS and a few other devices at my home with a ssh port opened, but only one has connection from outside for security.

From my office I can use the jump feature from ssh to use the externally available as a bridge to access the others.

Would be of great value for me if Termius did implement this feature.

    Can we have it?

    Thanks for the awesome app!

    Fernando

  16. auto-repeat ctrl+ keys

auto-repeat for keys when holding down CTRL key would be great. For instance, in the vim editor, I frequently use: Ctrl + e - move screen down one line, and Ctrl + y - move screen up one line. It’s painful to have to keep pressing the key to move multiple lines.

  17. Simple terminal emulator

It would be nice to be able to SSH into any host by typing the ssh command. Sometimes I want to troubleshoot a random machine by 'ssh user@IP", and so adding a new server for this feels dork/iOS style. Would be nice to enter to termius with a simple emulator where I can type "ssh user@IP" and then being asked for a password.

  19. Fix so that it remembers fingerprints for FreeBSD servers

I use Termius to connect to three hosts; one running OpenBSD 5.8, one running Debian 8.10 and one running FreeBSD 11.1.

Connecting to the OpenBSD and Debian hosts work perfectly, and in the hosts list their entries also show that Termius has recognized what operating system they are running.

When connecting to the FreeBSD server Termius always states that it can’t establish the authenticity of the host. The fingerprint is always the same so it’s a problem with Termius. I’ve not had any problems like this connecting to my server from my desktop computer running OpenSSH client.

    The only thing…

  20. Host discovery via Bonjour (mDNS)

It would be nice if Termius supported LAN host discovery via mDNS (Bonjour) service advertisements.
Bonus points for not requiring to permanently add a host discovered this way (e. g. auto-add temporary entries for such hosts to the Hosts list, painted in different color or something like that).
Ideal if there could be a separate “Share” action for sending a file via SFTP to an auto-discovered host (so that SFTP sharing becomes as fast as AirDrop).

    Hello,

The Bonjour discovery has already been implemented. If you go to the Terminal screen and tap into the search bar you may see the button “Discover local hosts”.

Please check it out and let us know if you have any problems with it.

Regarding the SFTP + share idea, we’ve added this to the backlog for future consideration. Sounds interesting :)

    Thanks
