  2. Terminal type per hosy

We only have the option of vt100 and xterm globally.

While this covers a large number, can't we gave it settable on a host of group level?

    Thanks

  3. Save screen and scroll back on auto-disconnect

I've seen the opposite also requested, so maybe an option by server or server group for this.

Many times I have long running processes and I switch between apps while waiting for something to finish. If I get distracted and miss the auto-timeout, the last screen is gone and I'll never even know if my long running process finished. Usually it's like, oh I see it!! NOOOO and it's gone...

Ideally if the connection dies, automatically or otherwise, I'd like to see some visual representation that the connection is stale, but I'd like to see the last output and maybe…

  4. Open In... FROM Safari / other apps

I would like to be able to browse to a file Url in safari and click "Open In..." And be able to click on ServerAuditor and have it save to the local file system so I can SFTP the file into a remote system.

I'm actually really surprised this feature does not exist and makes me regret purchasing the premium... Can we please get this added?
There are sites that require authentication to download a file, I'd like to be able to use safari to do that and scp/SFTP those files to my internal systems.

    Would also be nice to…

  5. Add timeout function to snippets

Like MTPutty, add functionality for a timeout to be specified when a snippet is running. A simple sleep would not be sufficient in this case because the terminal would be busy and could not run a sleep command.

In my case, I have a java applet that is used by others. I like to broadcast that the applet will reboot, followed by 5 minutes of warnings sent every 60 seconds. Since the applet does not support sleeping between commands, and I do not have the time to manually do it, I feel that this functionality would be very useful.

  6. Network reachout

How do I keep this App from reaching out to other Internet things every time I start it?

  9. Key-combination support could be improved

I use byobu (a fancy front end to screen/tmux) on most of my servers. It's great, but relies on a lot of key combinations like shift+arrow, shift+fX, alt+fX, etc. So far I haven't found any iOS ssh clients that seem to handle this properly (I can toggle shift, then press fX on your keyboard extension, but it only seems to send an unmodified fX. Ditto with alt and ctrl, with fX and arrows). If you could make this work it would be a huge win for me.

  10. Keyboard buttons with multiple input chars like in Textastic

It would be awesome, if in the extended keyboard there would be some buttons with multiple input possibilities, but not with a hovering selector panel, but based on a swipe gesture.

On normal keypress, the standard character is typed, but if a little swipe gesture follows the key press, to one of the corners of the button, then some other character is typed.

I found this kind of button bar incredibly useful in the code editor app called textastic.

I think this feature would come handy for an shh client as well, especially with customisable buttons.

  11. Custom key combinations for shake

Ability to create custom key combinations when shaking the device. Right now there's a limited amount of available combinations (and I'd like to make a shake do Alt-A).

    Thanks!

  12. Tabs for buck or two

I'd like to buy permanent licence or just Tabs feature like permanent license, more because I'd like donate couple of bucks for excellent app than I really need that feature.

  13. Avoid keystrokes from corrupting source files

While trying to toggle for special characters during the vim session, I accidentally entered an unprintable character which make my source file unless because I can figure out where exactly the bad character is. I know I can use some tool to get rid of the unprintable character(s), just just to be safe, I simply revert back to an old version. Which means I am trying to save 15 minutes during my commute ended up cost me 2 hours of work.

When how the keyboard toggles (emoji and other foreign language keyboard), it's pretty easy to get tripped on entering…

  14. CoreOS icon

My Ubuntu boxes all have an Ubuntu icon. Would be awesome to have a CoreOS icon for CoreOS servers.

    Awesome software!

  15. 3D Touch custom actions

It would be really nice if we can configure, within terminal, the force touch features.
eg: Say I use a specific command often, and typing it takes some time. It'd be cool if I can set these commands somewhere, and then upon force touch make these commands appear.

But if that's too much, it'd still be handy to have a few 3D/force touch quick actions implemented in the terminal. (Guess you must be able to disable it, some people dislike it.)

  16. Autoreconnect

When a session times out, due to screen sleeping, ask to reconnect when waking.

  18. Shake invokes ^H

I'd like ^H added to the list of keystrokes output when I shake my device.

  19. Hop hosts for groups

I have few networks with SSH hop behind. It is difficult to manage those situations with server auditor, only by using port forwarding (however dynamic forwarding would be better).

But I think, it is great to add option for main server in a group to be an SSH hop.

  20. Support cursor keys on custom keyboards

I'm using PadKeys, which is a third-party keyboard that works like a full laptop keyboard including number and punctuation keys in the normal places. Very useful with Serverauditor. Unfortunately the cursor keys on it don't work! Tapping them just does nothing, and I have to use the Serverauditor toolbar instead. They work in other apps just fine. Is there any chance of having them work in Serverauditor?
