I love this app and am using it quite satisfied.
Only one feature missing for me is X forwarding.
Isn't it unavailable to add that feature?
If so, it's totally fine but If the app had that feature,
this app will be the best app for sshing.
this app looses most of it appeal with out X11 forwarding, please add this feature
X server please!!!!!
And save passwords
Other wise great!
I need x server ...
Would buy immediately if you support this. Now, no.
I was hoping to finally get some graphical interface from my linux servers... I would certainly be using this feature.
I would pay for this
What is the status/priority of this feature?
X11 fwd would be premium clincher
Yes there is a need for X on the iPad. Please.
This is essential to what I need to use this app for and the only reason I'm not going premium.
Interesting application but, without X11 forwarding, quite limited. For me, this is just one more reason to stay away from iOS.
Please add this feature. There is NO app available with x11 forwarding now that issh is gone from the appstore, with this feature, I would definitely buy this app.
Ugh. This is exactly why closed source code bases suck. If you guys weren't into profits and competition and all that I could simply build on your code directly and improve "the product" for people who use the same tools I do. As it currently stands, features that won't greatly increase your marketshare never get on the "roadmap." Moral of this story: capitalism stifles good features and thereby degrades code quality. Meanwhile sharing is caring over at Github ;).
update about this topic
with iSSH app discontinued there is no other app for iOS which has Xserver integration
so it will be more than nice to have it.
Thank you for your feedback
At the moment we can not say how long it would take to implement, but thus is one of the features we also would like to have in our app.
For researchers a command-line session often involves interactive plotting. Being able to display a quick pop-up graph through X11 would be extremely useful for users using R, Python's matplotlib, Gnuplot, etc. on a daily basis. I'm envisioning the graph being displayed over the keyboard, and then on first key press it would be dismissed, enabling the user to immediately see the prompt again and type in the next command!
iSSH apparently offered X11 forwarding, but maybe just on OS X?
Here is at least one other interested party: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1599712
Developers, from your experience, how tricky do you think this would be to implement?
