It seems not possible to launch multiple instances of the desktop app.
It would be nice to use space on multi screen setups.
You won’t believe it but it’s in Beta now.
Right click on a host to open in another window.
Make sure you have the credentials saved in host otherwise it won’t work now – the feature is not completed yet.

"some modifier key" does not work. Is it working on the Mac? It is pretty annoying not having multiple windows.
"There should be a preference "always open sessions in new windows" " -> is this implemented?

Trying this feature on Mac. Feedback:
• Double-clicking a host with some modifier key pressed should open it in a new window (maybe the Shift key?). This way you don't have to right-click-mouse into a menu to do it.
• cmd-W should close the open window if it has focus. This works when you have a tab selected but not with a second window.
• There should be a preference "always open sessions in new windows"

Is this not available for the windows desktop app? I am right clicking my hosts, but I do not see any kind of option to open it in a new window.

Can this feature be used to work with clusters? For exemple execute same command at the multiple ssh terminals.
But it open a new windows, I hope to have X sessions side by side on the same windows.
I just downloaded latest version as 1.0.65.
It has the feature of Multiple instances.
The hotkey Shift-Ctrl-N makes a new windows.
Also interested in this on macOS or at least have more then one app window. Any update?
Any updates on this? Without this I can't use termius. I'd be willing to test it in a beta version too.
you can open another termius
Any news? In the beta test it's possible? Thank you!
You did a great job with this app on Windows. Would be great if you add an option to undock the tabs and be able to have different consoles when you're working with more than one screen.

I second that.
This is why i wont buy after my trial runs out. I will be getting back to putty
Need this feature ASAP.
I'm a paid user.
I am a paying customer and this is the one thing that is keeping me from replacing this as my SSH client. I quite often need to have two sessions up (or more) at a time for work. I am currently using SuperPutty as my client because it allows this flexible windowing.
FYI, not as great as it would be to have movable tabs, but you can Ctrl+Shift+n and open a new termius session that actually works and doesn't just spin. Can't tell you why.
This is on the roadmap and definitely will be implemented.
We have some experimental versions that support this feature.
It's not stable yet and has different limitations and probably won't be published soon.
But if you'd like to test it out and provide your feedback just send us a note through a Contact Support form on this website. Would be great to hear what you think.

I want this feature also, but i suspect this is a limitation caused by the framework, which is most likely ionic framework. some other framework that use web engine to create app such as electron also seems to suffer from the same behaviour as we can see in Visual Studio Code.
This missing (and for me basic feature) is the only reason I don't use Termius any more and don't recommend to other Mac users. At least the option to open multiple instances of the application would help. Please add this to really make this the go to ssh client.

I don't seem to be able to pull tabs out into their own windows. Sometimes I need to be able to see lots of terminals at once.
