  2. Mac app can’t login without username

The Mac app needs the ability to login without a username like the iOS app can. Without this feature, I can’t use the Mac app for most Cisco hardware so it’s basically unusable right now.

  3. Support GSSAPI authentication?

It is common to use GSSAPI with Kerberos ticket to auth client with a SSH server, and many SSH clients (openssh-client, putty, and a bunch of others) support this. Is it possible for Termius to support this feature too?

PS: the category is randomly selected; GSSAPI and Kerberos is cross platform. Linux, Windows and macOS all have native support of Kerberos 5.

  4. BUG: Termius failed to paste the whole thing into terminal

Working with Termius Windows is always kind of a struggle, it is hard to do long text copying because if you scroll the Termius window, it will uncheck the chosen text outside the window, and yesterday I found that Termius can sometimes bugged out when you tried to paste a large portion of texts, such as 100+ SQL commands, some commands got cut off in the middle and hence failed to execute.

  6. Display tags in hosts list

In the host's list, you can make tags and assign them to your hosts however in the list view you can't see them. It would be a great help if we could have the tags displayed in the list view.

  7. BUG: Termius unusable until restart when using port forwarding

When you do the following steps:

    1. Make the host to connect to listen on a specific port
    2. Enable port forwarding
    3. Make the host to connect to not listen on the port anymore
    4. Try to connect to the port Termius has opened locally

then the port forwarding feature crashes and is unusable anymore until you restart Termius. On other programs like PuTTY, you simply can't connect to the port PuTTY has opened locally until the port on the host is reachable again.

Why somebody would need this? When you develop scripts on like Node.JS which restarts the…

  9. Cannot Access Tez Web Interface on EMR through Termius

I use EMR on AWS, and I therefore need to be able to access the Tez web interface on the cluster, which requires 3 port forwards, 8080, 8088, and 8188. I can accomplish this with the following terminal command, which works fine:

    ssh -i <my_key>.pem -L 8080:<EMR DNS>:8080 -L 8088:<EMR DNS>:8088 -L 8188:<EMR DNS>:8188 hadoop@<EMR DNS>

However, I have not been able to accomplish this with Termius. After setting up a port forward for each of these in Termius, I still get an error (that it cannot access the Tez timeline server on 8188). Any ideas on how to resolve…

  11. BUG: Termius asking for passphrase even I put the right one

I'm being asked for a passphrase when I use a private key. Using the same key on Putty connects successfully.

I use latest version of Termius. I wanted to buy premium version but seems like I really wont, because I can't use it in work.

  13. ability to setup tunnels

There seems to be no tunnel options on the mac version when you setup a host. I use tunnels constantly, e.g. to access the DB on a server. For this I have to use iterm (via shuttle) with commands like ssh me@xxx -L 3307:localhost:3306. It would be great if something like this were available on terminus. NOTE: tunnels are defined on the host definition. I would have a particular host defined twice once with the tunnels, which I only open once, and once without tunnels so I can open multiple connections.

  15. Sort order doesn't save.

I need to sort by name, but after restarting the app it goes back to sorting by date. I'm not comfortable looking for the right host.

  16. SFTP to Finder integration in macOS (Darwin)

Currently we have no way to view local files in the side-by-side SFTP panel, and we cannot drag n' drop files from Finder to the SFTP panel(s).

I honestly suggest removing the "two" panels view from SFTP, adding native drag n' drop support, and use a tab view just like SSH instead.

  17. Cluster SSH

Adding the ability to use cluster ssh, e.g. open multiple connections across multiple, separate windows and issue the same command to all connections at once.

  18. Can't open new terminal sessions after app is open for a while

I usually open up two sessions, but after using for a bit, I can't open any others (nor can I reopen after closing a session), and have to restart the app.

  19. Termius as Flatpack

    Hello!
Would it be possible to add Termius to Flathub, so we can use it on CloudReady?
    Thanks a lot!
