          Hello.
          Thank you for your feedback!

Since SFTP is only a file transfer protocol, we do not support file editing within the app.

However, you may export files from Termius to a third party editing app, edit the file there and then export it back to Termius and upload to host.

To transfer file from Termius to somewhere else
          - Copy file to local storage. Tap on copied files in local storage. Termius will suggest you a number of available options (a list of apps that allow file importing, such as DropBox, Google Drive and so on.)

To transfer file from somewhere else to Termius
          - Open the app that allows file sharing, for example DropBox. Find the file that you want to share with Termius. Typically there will be a “Share” button somewhere in the app. Tap on this button and you should see a list of available apps…

It is all about convenience. I do see a HUGE need for this. Not everybody wants to use vi from the terminal on his phone. For example on the Mac I use rmate on the Mac to edit server file with TextMate. Is it much faster & responsive than using the editor remotely.

I don't ask for a complex editor which would be a lot of work but just a text area. One would be able to open text file, edit it as plain text and save it back on server. That's a great time saver. Copy pasting to another app is losing time each time you edit one file.

I also paid for this because it had a SFTP client. Which for me implied a basic viewer editor.

I actually don't understand what snippets are for without this.

I expect this from start: one button, open a list with search and tap on a snippet to paste it.
