  1. Focus the passphrase input when connecting to host

At the moment when I connect to a host using a key with a passphrase, I have to manually focus the passphrase input field. Should be a nice easy fix to have that auto focus, so I don't have to focus it myself before typing the passphrase.

  2. Unable to connect local CNAME domain

In the past days, I connect to my router via domain name `router`.
The DNS record I got from my PC is as following
    router. 0 IN A 192.168.8.129

These days I found it can't work as expect, for I change it to CNAME
    router. 0 IN CNAME armv8.
    armv8. 0 IN A 192.168.8.129

But I can succeed to connect the router vi domain name `console.gl-inet.com`
    console.gl-inet.com. 0 IN CNAME router.
    router. 0 IN CNAME armv8.
    armv8. 0 IN A 192.168.8.129

I'm not sure if it's a problem of termius or OS's dns client.

  3. Open terminals to all server in group / ClusterSSH

Add the ability to open connections to all servers in a group (tabs for each connection is fine) so that you don't have manually open a connection to each host when you need to perform work on multiple servers in a group.

  4. Add "Open Termius here" in folder context menu

Like "Git Bash Here" or "Open with Atom". It will affect only the new "Local Terminal" feature ofc, just opening Termius window directed to current folder.

  5. Ability to use an external editor through SFTP menu (WinSCP style)

Add the ability to use an external editor through SFTP menu (WinSCP style). This would allow for the configuration of editors like Atom or Notepad++ without having to transfer back and forth.

  7. Add Shell Integration (Drag-and-Drop) to SFTP

The SFTP functionally limited at present and basic integration with the OS would be welcome—particularly on desktop operating systems. In my usage on Windows, this expected functionality is conspicuously absent and I look forward to its introduction.

In case I need to be blatantly obvious here, I would expect to be able to drag or paste any file—from Windows Explorer, MacOS Finder, and the various equivalents on Linux—directly into the currently open SFTP host session and subsequently initiate a transfer of the file or files being dragged or pasted and resulting in a successful binary transfer to the destination host.

  8. nmap integration

Any way I can scan a server for open ports and open terminals based on open ports. For example, I currently have a server that runs multiple telnet sessions using dynamic ports, I have to use nmap to see which ports are open, open termius and open a new session. Now if I can do both from termius, I can go for more coffee breaks :-)

  9. Deep tmux integration, iTerm2 style

Please consider adding deep tmux integration - see how iTerm2 does it. Things like native scrollback within a tmux window, copy/pasting from the scrollback without having to use tmux control sequences, and seeing all available tmux windows easily. The iTerm2 integration with tmux is fantastic, and it would amazing to have this as part of Termius too.

  10. Ability to group snippets

Ablitity to group snippets. For this type of feature where a user could have many snippets based on function etc. having a group option would benefit the user.

Add support for serial and USB ports. Network engineers still use them.

  13. Remember ssh key passphrase only while open

It looks like you can either save Termius your ssh key’s passphrase and it will remember it forever (which seems to defeat the passphrase entirely), or you don’t tell it your passphrase and you’re prompted every time you connect.

It would be good to have Termius prompt once, and remember it for the rest of the session, or day, or some fixed time period (and perhaps a button to forget it explicitly).

  14. Disable sync for specific groups/hosts

I would like to have some hosts only on my Laptop without having them on my phone/pc. I disabled sync on my Laptop completly and deleteted those hosts, but Termius deleted them everywhere.

  15. Lots of hosts

So I have been looking for a while now for a ssh client that has all the features I want and so far Termius is close. I love how you can duplicate tabs, connect without making a host, not have to sync keys, a import function (CLI) a search. Today I decided to start testing termius out for work and uploaded our server list using the CLI (700+ hosts) and when loading the hosts it was very laggy. Having this many hosts made the entire application laggy from logging in to searching clients. Has anyone else had any issues with…

  18. How to change the password (not to reset)?

There should be a way to change the password without removing all user data. I want to simply choose a more secure password, there must be a way to do so without wiping everything out. Am I overlooking something?
