  1. add support for zmodem

I need to be able to use zmodem as per usual in a terminal window. Can't bother to change windows and use scp, takes too long time.
SecureCRT has zmodem support why not you? It's not hard to add.
It's much faster to use "sz blah.zip" from a terminal instead of alt tab or create new window and do scp or whatever.

  2. Remember ssh key passphrase only while open

It looks like you can either save Termius your ssh key’s passphrase and it will remember it forever (which seems to defeat the passphrase entirely), or you don’t tell it your passphrase and you’re prompted every time you connect.

It would be good to have Termius prompt once, and remember it for the rest of the session, or day, or some fixed time period (and perhaps a button to forget it explicitly).

  5. Auto Switch User (su) when login

    Hello guys.

In our servers, we usually use a user to login to the server and then su to root user (with password) in order to administrate the server.

There is any way to implement this?

Always we configure sshd_configwith parameter PermitRootLogin to No.

Would be nice if we can use 2 diferent identities from termius to do that.

    Thanks for your work

  6. Where termius saves passwords for Mac os

I want to know where termius saves passwords for Mac os, given that I didn't create an account, and didn't use termius Keychain.

    Thank you

  8. Focus the passphrase input when connecting to host

At the moment when I connect to a host using a key with a passphrase, I have to manually focus the passphrase input field. Should be a nice easy fix to have that auto focus, so I don't have to focus it myself before typing the passphrase.

  9. Add "Open Termius here" in folder context menu

Like "Git Bash Here" or "Open with Atom". It will affect only the new "Local Terminal" feature ofc, just opening Termius window directed to current folder.

  10. Open terminals to all server in group / ClusterSSH

Add the ability to open connections to all servers in a group (tabs for each connection is fine) so that you don't have manually open a connection to each host when you need to perform work on multiple servers in a group.

  11. General Notes like ios notes

I like the idea of adding notes per host, but we also need a general area for notes. I'd like to keep various linux commands grouped together for specific things- i.e., sharing zfs via nfs with access lists. etc.

  13. Allow window to scroll on selection for copy/paste

Can you allow the window to scroll when selecting text larger than the terminal length (meaning it needs to scroll to view/select additional lines). At the moment, you can only select up to the current length of the window. Then you have to manually scroll up and select the text again if what you are selecting is longer than the window. (Doesn't work on mac OSX, haven't tried windows though)

  14. Add support for vault

It would be great if you could support Vault from Hashicorp.
    https://www.vaultproject.io

They provide a way to securely store/access your secrets, ssh keys. The ability to be able to login to our servers with this as a possible provider would be great.

  15. Support Standard SmartCard Authentication methods

Most SSH clients support Smartcard authentication where the private key is stored on smart cards (or yubi-keys and other similar HSM modules) and can be exposed via the industry standard PKSC#11 interfaces

please consider generic support of PKSC#11 for the desktop app, and potentially for mobile via NFC/USB interaction as mentioned in other ideas like

  16. try to set up arris router

I recently bought an Arris router but couldn't access the Arris router login page and set up the router. After searching many times I got the solution from https://routerguide.org/arris-router-login/ and set up the router.

  18. Traditional FTP protocol

A great option would be if you would add normal FTP support. More specifically, I mean that I have, for example, a purchased hostig on which I keep a website and I also have login data for the FTP protocol.

Your application currently does not allow you to connect to a regular FTP than the one that has SFTP. (yes I know, SFTP is safer, but not every service provider offers it).

It would be great if I could give such data as:

    • The host name, e.g. mypage.domain.com (as the FTP address - because the web service providers do this)

  19. support distros like Fedora/SUSE/RHEL

SNAP support in most distros outside of Ubuntu is very poor. Can you please support other packaging format besides DEP and Snap? Maybe consider Flatpak or providing an RPM package?
