    Hello,
We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Termius has this feature but unfortunately it’s broken in current release. We’ll fix it with the next update.

For now you may use a workaround:
In Files app select the key file and press “share” button (the one that has the icon of a square and arrow, should be at the bottom-left corner) and press “Copy” in the sharing menu. Now you should be able to paste it in Termius in the New Key screen.

Here is the video example I’ve recorded for you:
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1q6iMYA0Y4rHBLqfGn8oYuVugvDUSHa01/view?usp=sharing

    Hope it helps

  2. Emulation Type

Prevent the App from writing the emulation type as my username while logging in. The username (e.g. „root“) is automatically replaced by the emulation protocol.

  3. Socket is not connected

Usually when I try to connect to my server with iPhone it crashes with “socket is not connected” error, while on iPad it works. Also, when I tried to go to Feedback and Support in the app there was also “error in the application”

  4. RDP Client (+vnc) that doesn't suck.

Embedded RDP and VNC Client. The client should be simple but yet allow me to use the tabs with my other servers.

+Bonus if you can handle easy smb file transfers
+Big Bonus if you can have it scale to the phone rather than making a massive screen which is hard to use.

I know you can enable ssh - but not always possible.

  8. Auth with 2FA

Sorry if this is a repeat. I don't think 2FA with certs is recognized properly by Termius.

I have 2FA (public key+OAuth) set up on a Pi, and after public key is accepted Termius seems to show the username/public key combo was invalid, yet I authenticate successfully. I checked my logs and the authentication was successful and normal.

Moreover, I have password auth turned off but in the absence of a proper public key, Termius still prompts for a password then fails.

These errors could be a config issue on my part, but I'm wondering if anyone else has noted…

  9. Cisco Break Sequence

So that I don't have to change the break sequence on Cisco devices, it would be good if ctrl + shift + 6 could be pressed simultaneously.

  10. HTTPS (TLS/SNI) proxy support

Support for HTTPS proxies that use openssl, sclient, Telebit, ngrok, localtunenel.me, etc.

These are all very simple and easy to implement. All that needs to be done is open a tls connection and pipe the ssh connection through that. Dead simple - probably one of the lowest cost features you’ll ever implement.

    The purpose is two-fold:

    1. SSH doesn’t support SNI so in order to be able to access my home computer through a secure relay it has to be wrapped in TLS.

    2. Library and Airport networks often block all non-443, non-https traffic. Wrapping ssh in TLS makes it work behind…

  11. Use sudo for copying files

I can't copy files from one server to another, because I have to use sudo/root access for this, so it would be great if there would be a copy using sudo function in the sftp tab.

  12. Overhaul the top bar

All I can get it to do is open a Quick Connect menu, but I'm already connected, so that's useless to me. I have no idea what, if anything, the rest of the bar is for, and it takes up space on the screen. Worse yet, it obscures the terminal rather than reducing its size like the keyboard hotbar. Whatever it's for, it definitely needs reworking - preferably including a toggle in settings to just disable it altogether.

  13. Ctrl+o no longer works in 4.0.2.

As of 4.0.2 Ctrl+o no longer works as intended. In Nano, ctrl+o should save, but pressing ctrl+o performs the same operation as pressing ctrl+space. Ctrl+o had worked properly in the previous version.

  14. icon badge if text received

show an icon badge if an open connection received some text while the app is in the background

the number in the badge can be the number of connections that received text
or maybe the total nr of lines that were received.

very handy if you want to be notified when a long-running job ends.

  16. PIN screen not fast enough

    Hi,

before showing the PIN screen, there is a slight gap, where I'm able to see the hostlist for example. With the right timing i was also able to make a screenshot. So anyone getting passed my iOS PIN will also see my hostlist.
Maybe changing this behavior would be a good idea.
    Cheers,
    Chris

  17. Allow Yubikey + password auth

I have pam_yubico setup which asks for both, OTP and normal password.

The app currently only supports either OTP or password, but not both.

it would be nice to have an option to 1st prompt for OTP, and then for password

  18. Enable use of custom installed fonts

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before..

Thanks to the updates in ios, you can install custom fonts via profiles in settings. I just imported powerline fonts (I'm a Japanese user so I would really like to have a Japanese ready mono-spaced font) from my computer and installed it to my iPad, but it looks like the font chooser on this app doesn't show the custom installed ones. I don't know if there's a function that filters mono-spaced font out of the custom installed fonts, but I would really appreciate if there was a feature added to support them!

  19. Clear screen when closing a commection

I would like to see a configuration switch with which one could enable 'clear screen after disconnect' (like PuTTY) does. Thanks!

  20. How Do I Connect to a local Server?

Most basic question: how do I open an SSH terminal to a Linux Server and QNAP NAS on same network as wireless iPhone connection? Both have SSH servers enabled, and I'm able to connect with a Windows 10 laptop?
