Edit files with sftp
I have access to see all my files with sftp but I can't edit them? This would be very useful if I could. I would be happy if it downloaded, then edited, and once saved uploaded (similar to FileZilla) because sometimes I need to edit some files on the go.
What are you waiting for guys? Leave everything and do something about this thing first.

WHY is this still not a thing? For sure will not buy premium for SFTP if I still have to use filezilla anyway..
My god. This is still unresolved after all these YEARS? I thought the point of subscription was to allow companies to spend time on the product without having to worry much about money flow? But instead, looks like it allows companies to just have this constant money inflow and allowing them to INSTEAD to not care much about answering to users’ requests.
Something went completely 180 degree right here.
Vote with your wallets guys.

When are you going to implement this feature??? This is a must have for any SFTP client....
I cannot refuse filezilla or winscp just because you lack this feature. Add please!
Yes I strongly request an editor feature too. I'd also like to have a sftp by the side of an editor/ternimal view, and the sftp would follow the terminal path, just like Mobaxterm. If that's true I'll buy premium immediately. Currently I'm just going to use AWS Cloud9.
Just downloaded this but not having a way to edit a file means i wont be buying premium. Bummer too, because i was really excited about this app. You ALMOST got it. Just add that and you will become the go to all-in-one ssh, file transfer & editor for a lot of people

Why I have to open another application when I just want to open a file. Why can not I click on the file and it does not open in 3rd part application?
I bought the PRO version, but I have to go back to MobaXterm, because Moba has this feature available. This is basic functionality. It's a waste of money.
It isn't problem only on iOS, I work mostly on windows.
Well.. no simple editor in SFTP mode definitely means no sale. This is a must have feature.
Too bad :( was pretty much expected a subscription based app to have this level of functionality..
It should be really more easy. Winscp, Forklift and other download a temporary file, save the changes and push it back to remote...no big deal guys
I Have pay for PRO billed annually but can't edit single php code. Shit App !!!
Wow. Can you guys just make it easy to edit files... Literally, every sftp client allows this. This is a misleading feature and not a true sftp client.
Please add this feature, I paid for the PRO version and would like to have this functionality. Why do I have to download another app to edit a simple file?
While this is mainly functionality expected from another app that supports iOS Activities, having a minimal text editor would be a nice novelty.

It is all about convenience. I do see a HUGE need for this. Not everybody wants to use vi from the terminal on his phone. For example on the Mac I use rmate on the Mac to edit server file with TextMate. Is it much faster & responsive than using the editor remotely.
I don't ask for a complex editor which would be a lot of work but just a text area. One would be able to open text file, edit it as plain text and save it back on server. That's a great time saver. Copy pasting to another app is losing time each time you edit one file.
I also paid for this because it had a SFTP client. Which for me implied a basic viewer editor.

I did that with a text based file and it says cannot recognise Public Key. Please fix your software, I paid for it.
Please! Where is the ftp with editor? I paid for the upgrade.
Nice to connect from anywhere. Keep the great work.
This would be awesome.
