Edit files with sftp
I have access to see all my files with sftp but I can't edit them? This would be very useful if I could. I would be happy if it downloaded, then edited, and once saved uploaded (similar to FileZilla) because sometimes I need to edit some files on the go.
Wow. Can you guys just make it easy to edit files... Literally, every sftp client allows this. This is a misleading feature and not a true sftp client.
Please add this feature, I paid for the PRO version and would like to have this functionality. Why do I have to download another app to edit a simple file?
While this is mainly functionality expected from another app that supports iOS Activities, having a minimal text editor would be a nice novelty.

It is all about convenience. I do see a HUGE need for this. Not everybody wants to use vi from the terminal on his phone. For example on the Mac I use rmate on the Mac to edit server file with TextMate. Is it much faster & responsive than using the editor remotely.
I don't ask for a complex editor which would be a lot of work but just a text area. One would be able to open text file, edit it as plain text and save it back on server. That's a great time saver. Copy pasting to another app is losing time each time you edit one file.
I also paid for this because it had a SFTP client. Which for me implied a basic viewer editor.

I did that with a text based file and it says cannot recognise Public Key. Please fix your software, I paid for it.
Please! Where is the ftp with editor? I paid for the upgrade.
Nice to connect from anywhere. Keep the great work.
This would be awesome.
You can always use the Notes App from iOS and copy-paste from there. I see no need to add this function to an ssh client.
I paid for the pro version because I expected that with the SFTP there would be the capability to do simple edits on host files, iptables, resolve.conf etc. it seems to me that this is the most obviously missing feature that allows on the move basic server admin.
