  1. Use safari search engine by default

Please stop pushing Google to your users.
I would like to use Duck Duck Go but everybody has their own ideas. Just allow to customize it.

  2. Share Hosts via AirDrop

IT would be useful to be able to share Host details with an iPhone or iPad.

  3. Switch between tabs with CMD-1, CMD-2, etc

Currently there are two ways to switch between tabs:

    1) CMD-M and click the tab you want to jump to
    2) CMD-<ARROW LEFT> or CMD-<ARROW RIGHT>

This is nice, but not perfect. If you have many tabs it can be cumbersome to switch with the above two methods. It would be good to be able to rely more on muscle memory and align feature wise with all terminal applications on other platforms that allow tabs.

    So, I propose a third method: CMD-<DIGIT>

Where <DIGIT> is the number that represents the tab, from left to right, 1 to 0 (“0” meaning…

  4. Override system light/dark mode

It's good to hop on the iOS 13 dynamic light/dark mode bandwagon, but there really needs to be a way to override the theme because this (https://i.imgur.com/Rhq6mZz.jpg) looks really bad

  6. Ctrl on volume keys no longer works after recent update.

I have been using this app for a little over a year now, with Ctrl mapped to Volume-down, and Esc to Volume-up; but as of a recent update, Ctrl is no longer working this way. The button press seems to be ignored entirely, and the only thing sent to the terminal is the key I hold Ctrl with, or press after Ctrl. Esc is still working mapped to Volume-up. I've tried remapping and changing it back, but it still doesn't work.

Please fix this asap. I love using this app, but having to access Ctrl through a keyboard layer is…

  7. Display formatted timestamps from bash history files

The ~/.bash_history file, contains timestamps when each command was executed, e.g.:

    #1553211593

    sudo yum erase java
    #1553211600
    rpm -qa java*
    #1553211620
    sudo yum erase java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless javapackages-tools
    #1553211631
    sudo reboot

Termius should parse these timestamps (e.g, "#1553211593") and display a formatted date time string in the History list, like this:

sudo yum erase java (Sat, June 3, 2019 12:34:55)

rpm -qa java* (Sat, June 3, 2019 12:35:13)
    …etc

  8. Bug: mosh copy/pasting ignores \n

It's pretty annoying, whenever you copy/paste multi-line text, when using mosh, it doesn't copy \n but rather fills the screen with spaces.

For instance the following will render as three different lines, one above the others, on mobile, but is in reality a single line with tons of spaces:
    gpotter@vmg:~$ gpotter@vmg:~$ gpotter@vmg:~$

This was copy/pasted from Termius with Mosh.

  10. Ability to disabling the hiding function of the additionally keyboard row

This might be helpful to prevent the following situation: You accidentally hide this extra bar and are on the remote machine on a text editor who uses the "mouse interactions" to place the cursor. Because the editors need special keys (like esc in vim, or ctrl+x in nano) to close and the extra bar is not visible to use a special command or get back to the sessions list, to force a session closing there, you have to close the app by double tapping the home button and swiping the app out.

  11. Allow Yubikey + password auth

I have pam_yubico setup which asks for both, OTP and normal password.

The app currently only supports either OTP or password, but not both.

it would be nice to have an option to 1st prompt for OTP, and then for password

  13. Shift-jis character issue?

I would like to share the my experience.
I tried to connect to SSH server which was configured to Shift-jis character. After Successfully done the user authentication, immediately terminated the session.
I changed the locale of this SSH server to UTF-8, this issue could not encounter again. (Session can continue normally)
I think Termius has some issue to close session automatically after user authentication.

  14. user-selectable screen colors

Currently users can select from a limited set of background/foreground color combinations. Why not let the user select both colors from a color palette? You don't have the color combination used by most of the developers I know, including me, which is bright yellow on dark blue -- which was determined a long time ago to be easier on the eyes than the usual green combos claimed to be easiest on the eyes. The yellow/darkblue screen is the one I have used on all my computer screens for the last 25 years, including many many 20-hour+ crunch sessions. It may…

  15. Slow to connect to raspberrypi via ssh

When connecting to a raspberrypi for the iOS app on an iPad, the connection usually takes upwards to a minute to complete. iOS 12 and raspberrypi was tried under both Stretch and Buster

  16. Longer time out after login

With really slow ssh hosts terminus time outs before remote shell loads. With putty or openssh client no such problem, but terminus gives up way too fast with my really old and slow host.

  19. On password prompts (e.g. from sudo), Termius should not display the input when using MOSH.

I am using Termius in MOSH mode, with tmux to have a persistent local session. When I use sudo in my tmux pane, Termius will echo the characters of the password. On a slow connection, the password can be accidentally revealed to an attacker if the screen is visible. Please try to detect password prompts and do not echo the input in this case!

  20. Allow mapping of hash/pound to a hardware button

Using the Brydge bluetooth keyboard, I’m unable to type # in terminal windows - Option + 3 results in an escape being sent.
