Memory Leak in Ubuntu 19
Hi everyone,
I seem to be experiencing a bug where my Termius starts freezing up after I've opened about 4 tabs and I just leave it standing for a few minutes.
The application stops working and the CPU usage goes a bit crazy and more recently I got the error that the system ran out of memory. Usually, I have to close it and reopen it to fix the problem.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm running on Ubuntu and I found that the problem exists on the snap install as well as the .deb install.

Using desktop app with just keyboard
Terminus should be usable without mouse/touchpad.
Ie.:
- access global tabs (hosts, sftp, ...) with keyboard shortcuts
- navigation through lists with arrow keys (hosts, snippets, sftp) and selection with key (enter)
- browsing in SFTP with arrow keys, pgup, pgdown, home, end, backspace, enter (opening selected file with external editor or popup context menu with ability to select items from it with keyboard); typing alphanumeric chars automatically engage search mode; tab to switch between left/right panel; keyboard shortcuts for changing drive, changing sorting column, copy, new folder, back/forward etc.
- when snippets panel is opened search input should gain…17 votes -
Allow selection of UI elements using the Tab key
In the current Termius desktop app, navigating between UI elements using the tab key is possible but very difficult to use: there is no visual feedback on which element is currently focused.
For example, to open a new session from saved hosts using only keyboard, one needs to:
- Press shortcut key for new tab (Ctrl + Shift + T)
- Press Tab five times
- Use up and down arrow keys to select a host
In which there is no visual feedback on the tab selection so one must use trial-and-error to figure out and memorize how many times should Tab be…

Issue with Snippets tab
When I edit snippets on a smaller screen, the tab that opens up to edit the snippet pushes the navigation menu off screen and I can't recover it unless I move the Termius window to a larger screen, fullscreen it there and then move it back to my smaller screen, or reboot the app. Frustrating for sure.

the command option + click does not work
Inside Termius terminal it is not possible to use the command "option (on a mac laptop) + left click ) to move the cursor of the command line at a certain spot.
This makes Termius completely useless for me .

Make use of control channels so only ONE authentication is required
Applies to all platforms. This is a MUST HAVE feature for those using 2FA or MFA to authenticate. Establish and use a control channel so that all subsequent sessions and forwards make use of the same connection.
I cannot recommend or use the product until it has this.
PrivateShell has done this for years and years.6 votes -

Application gets very slow and almost un responsive and needs restart in about 2-3 hours of up time
Looks like a buffering issue as application becomes almost unusable

Support text wrap on the desktop app
I noticed that the terminal pane doesn't have text the text wrap feature. Please add this option.

Disabling "Switch to Tab" shortcut
When setting the "Switch to specific Tab [1...9]" shortcut to "Disabled + [1...9]", this doesn't actually disable the shortcut, as instead, it switches tabs on just pressing the number keys, entirely disabling the input of numbers into the terminal.
This is a VERY bizarre use-case, and I can't see any feasible reason this would be the desired outcome. Can there be a way to disable this shortcut entirely?

Allow the date format to be swapped - I can only see the US format
In the SFTP the date format is only US format. Shows me 08/19/2019 but this is not my traditional way of using the date.

Add passcode support for the Desktop Apps
To harden security, a passcode lock (similar to the one found in the mobile apps) should be made available to desktop apps as well.

Local Terminal tab should show current directory
I often have multiple local terminal tabs open, each to different directories or
tail -f
a log file, etc. It would be great if instead of the tab name being "Local Terminal (3)" it showed either:- the command being run (assuming a process is running); or
- the directory it's in
That way I can quickly identify which tab I want:
- Local Terminal (tail -f db.log)
- Local Terminal (C:\Projects\Server)

Terminal tabs do not respond
If the connection is lost, for example, when the laptop was in a state of sleep. That open session tabs stop responding. I can not close them. This goes on for a long time before Terminus suggests to reconnect

Optional Exit Check
I use multiple screens and occasionally (once or twice a week) I accidentally close Termius which promptly exits taking 20 tabs with it. Would it be possible to have a "Are you sure you want to exit" popup which can be turned off? I am thinking of something like browsers and acrobat reader have by default.

keyboard shortcuts to expand or collapse navigation pane
Add keyboard shortcuts to expand or collapse navigation pane. Using the mouse to manually drag the left-hand navigation is a drag. Would much rather have a keyboard shortcut to snap between 3 views (hidden, minified, open)
