Desktop App

  1. Add passcode support for the Desktop Apps

    To harden security, a passcode lock (similar to the one found in the mobile apps) should be made available to desktop apps as well.

  2. Host templates

    I'm often working with dynamic clusters (AWS/Google) that all use the same username (e.g. ec2-user) and password/SSH key, but end up with different IP addressed.

    It would be great if I could create a Host "template" that has the IP missing and when I try to connect to it have Termius prompt me for it (and never save as a known host).

  5. Local Terminal tab should show current directory

    I often have multiple local terminal tabs open, each to different directories or `tail -f` a log file, etc. It would be great if instead of the tab name being "Local Terminal (3)" it showed either:

    * the command being run (assuming a process is running); or
    * the directory it's in

    That way I can quickly identify which tab I want:

    * Local Terminal (tail -f db.log)
    * Local Terminal (C:\Projects\Server)

  6. Make more screen space usable in Desktop App

    Whenever Desktop App window is maximized you’ll see that ~90% os screen space on “Hosts” tab is empty and is not used at all.
    My suggestion is to use Grid layout or something similar instead of the list to fit more information on-screen at the same time.

  9. Re-arrange tabs

    Could there be an option to re-arrange open tabs regardless of when they were opened?

  10. Tag search, bigger drop down list, sort list etc. etc. etc.

    Most people (i am guessing :) ) like me have large and extensive device list. Because of this i have cleaned up my device tags.
    The device tagging is not at all intuitive and does not even support search. The drop down list is ridiculously small.

  11. bar like cursor icon when moved to terminal

    when I move cursor into terminal, the icon doesn't change to the bar like icon, it remains the same as the usual cursor. how about adding this feature.

  12. cursor abnormal jump when hit enter key

    I ssh to remote Linux hosts, in the command line, when I hit enter, the cursor jumps to the beginning of the next line and then to the end of the prompt, which is abnormal. And this doesn't happen for local terminal.

  13. Shortcut to duplicate current tab

    A shortcut is necessary and I don't like the name format of the duplicated tab. e.g. xxx (1) xxx (2). I favor the duplicated ones using the same name as the origin one

  14. Application gets very slow and almost un responsive and needs restart in about 2-3 hours of up time

    Looks like a buffering issue as application becomes almost unusable

  15. Ability to edit files in host instead of downloading it to local first

    it can do this at least on the Android version, so I'd like to see it implemented in the desktop one too
    like it should automatically create a temporary file to put it on and once you save it and it gets uploaded, it deletes that temporary file
    WinSCP does this and it's very useful but I don't want to have to use WinSCP just for files and Termius only for console

  17. Allow the date format to be swapped - I can only see the US format

    In the SFTP the date format is only US format. Shows me 08/19/2019 but this is not my traditional way of using the date.

  18. Ctrl+Shift+6, or sending non-shortcut-bound sequences to the server

    On Cisco IOS, Ctrl+Shift+6 is used as an escape sequence (similar to Ctrl+C on *nix)

    Termius Desktop doesn't seem to send the sequence to the remote end when it's pressed, even when it's not bound to a shortcut.

    I imagine the fault is in the shortcut handling logic somewhere, since other shortcuts use Ctrl+Shift+... sequences.

  19. keyboard shortcuts to expand or collapse navigation pane

    Add keyboard shortcuts to expand or collapse navigation pane. Using the mouse to manually drag the left-hand navigation is a drag. Would much rather have a keyboard shortcut to snap between 3 views (hidden, minified, open)

  20. Default app for ssh:// protocol - Windows 10

    My university provides access to several hundred devices via SSH links on our web portal - but I cannot get Win10 to associate Termius with ssh:// url links.
    Uni recommends Putty, I've been using the Chrome SSH Extension but it doesn't like the specific URL format.
    Any plans to bring up OS compatibility in this way?
