BUG: Private key asking for passphrase when shouldn't
Yesterday I was using Termius just fine... this morning (8/13/18) it updated to v3.0.4 and now all of a sudden, I'm being asked for a passphrase when I use a private key. Using the same key on Putty connects successfully.
Your software offers no option for rollback so now it is completely useless to me.
Thanks for your feedback.
If you still experience the problem in version 3.2.4 please contact us directly through the ‘Contact Support’ button here – http://support.termius.com/
Would be great if you can provide us with the auth logs as well.
I know a hack - Enter your Mac User Password instead of the passphrase :D I accidentally did and it worked :D

having same issue, this is a big problem, ubuntu 18 termious version 4.9.7
This bug is still occurring every single day... Terminus 4.1.2, OS X High Sierra 10.13.6
"Work-around" is to edit the host, remove key, re-attach key... probably not worth subscribing until this bug is fixed.

it's all good now!
at first i thought it(private key field) was the key path,
i just copied my-key.pem content to the private key field then it works, its stupid of me
thankyou so much
To use private keys for connections just add it to your keychain as in this doc: docs.termius.com/termius-handbook/keychain and
then attach it to a host you are using to connect as in this doc: docs.termius.com/termius-handbook/hosts
If you are still having the issue, please, generate a testing public and private key pair and send it to our support: email@example.com Please, use the latest 4.7 Termius version during the tests.
Yup, still the same... using 4.1.2 on OS X Mojave

it's still happening

This has been happening for me since I started using Termius (I forget which version, but I'm using 4.1.2 on OS X Mojave at the time of this post). Is it fixed in the Premium version? I would subscribe for that reason alone - an option to not have it ask for a password when a key is used.
This is happening to me on MacOS as well, my desktop app version is 4.1.2
Same issue, v4.0.2
Any updates ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6 months nothing...
Still having this issue on v4.0.2 on the mac app store! very annoying
v4.0.2 from macOS App Store is having the same bug.
Hey, i have same problem like @Graham just on v3.3.5 also when i connect to ssh where is only password i need enter it every connection, it's like saved password is ignored from profile
I'm also experiencing this bug in version 3.3.5 (Mac).
I'm using an rsa key (without passphrase) to connect to hosts in a group. I've specified which key to use at the group level.
I can connect if any random string into the passphrase box, but the unnecessary pop up is quite frustrating.
This key works without a passphrase if I connect using a local terminal.
Android phone: Xiaomi MI MAX
Android version: 7.0
Termius app version: 3.3.37
Continuously requesting passphrase, could not connect.
Mac Os version (3.3.5) for the same key and server works correctly.
The same for me on v3.3.5, it asks for a passphrase to login which not exists.
I'm on v3.35 I think, and it still asks for a passphrase... There shouldn't be one, regular terminal does not ask me it, because there is none.
Same issue here. First time termius user, probably last-time termius user as well. SSH Key authentication is broken and doesn't work. Tough to keep trying termius when you can pop over to
iTerm and it "just works".
