The History section of Termius provides detailed information about your past sessions, including saved terminal outputs and allows you to save those sessions as hosts.

In the desktop app, history can be found in the left-hand panel. Click an item to see the details of a connection, view a session log, connect, save as a host entry or remove.

To browse history on a mobile, choose History from the main menu.

Note: History is synchronized only across mobile devices.

Note: Session logs are available only in the desktop Termius app.

Clear history

To remove all history items, right-click History and choose Clear history.

To remove all history items, tap the top-right icon and then Delete all items.

To remove all history items, tap Select, then the trash can icon and Clear all.

Note: It is currently not possible to disable history.

Location tracking

On iOS / iPadOS, you can choose to store information about the location from where a connection is made. This will allow you see it on the map in history. Additionally, enabling location tracking will prevent your connections from stopping when the app is put to the background.

Termius does not track location, when there are no active connections.

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Enable Save location data.

  3. Choose Allow once.
  4. Navigate to your device (OS) settings.
  5. Tap Termius at the bottom of the screen.
  6. Choose Location > Always.

Note: Location data is not synchronized – it is stored only locally on a device.
