Change password / encryption passphrase

Changing password or encryption passphrase can be done in the apps.

  1. In Preferences, choose Account.
  2. Click Change password / Change passphrase.
  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Tap the name of your current plan at the top (iOS) or your email at the top (Android).
  3. Tap Change password / Change passphrase.

Enable 2FA

For more security, consider enabling 2FA authentication through Authy or using TOTP. For TOTP authentication, use any authenticator app supporting TOTP (6238), e.g. Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator.

You can enable 2FA at account.termius.com, under the Account Details section, or in the Termius app.

Before enabling 2FA you’ll need to install Authy and link it with your phone number. You’ll be asked for that phone number when enabling 2FA.

  1. In Preferences choose Account.
  2. Turn on Enable 2FA.
  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Tap the name of your current plan at the top (iOS) or your email (Android).
  3. Tap Two-factor authentication.

ℹ️ If you don’t receive the SMS when registering with Authy, try the call option.

Sign out remotely

The My Devices section of the account dashboard displays devices logged into your Termius account and the latest activity date for each one. You can remotely sign out from a device, if desired.

Note that if you choose to sign out from a remote device that is currently offline, you will be signed out only after it becomes available online.

Delete Account

To delete your account, choose Delete Account on the Misc page.
