Dmitry Machulo Dmitry Machulo

You can select multiple items on the Hosts, Known hosts, Keychain, Snippets and Port forwarding screens in the desktop app by doing any of these actions:

  • Press Ctrl + A (Windows/Linux) or Cmd + A (Mac) to select all items.
  • Draw a rectangle using mouse over the items you want to select.

  • Click an item, then click another one while holding Shift. This mimics the behaviour of drawing a selection rectangle.

  • Extend a selection you already have consisting of one or several items using Ctrl (Windows/Linux) or Cmd (Mac) (see below).

Extending / reducing a selection

Hold Ctrl (Windows/Linux) or Cmd (Mac) and do one of these actions:

Additional actions

If you accidentally lost a selection, use Alt + Z (Windows/Linux) or Option + Z (Mac) to restore the previous selection state by going back in the selection history. To go forward in the selection history use Alt + Shift + Z or Alt + Y / Option + Shift + Z or Option + Y.
