My App Store subscription is not active

If you’ve just purchased a subscription through App Store, but don’t see any of the premium features in the app, follow the steps in one of the sections below, depending on where you made the purchase.

ℹ️ Before following the instructions, please, make sure you are logged in to your Termius account.

Mac App Store

If you installed and purchased Termius using different Apple IDs:

  1. Sign in to the Apple ID used for the purchase, if you're using a different one.

  2. Reinstall Termius.

  3. Start Termius.

  4. From Preferences choose Account.

  5. Click Restore Subscription. Your subscription should become active. You can switch to a different Apple ID if needed.

If you installed and purchased Termius using the same Apple ID, please, raise a support request.

iOS App Store

If you installed and purchased Termius using different Apple IDs:

  1. Sign in to the Apple ID used for the purchase, if you're using a different one.

  2. Reinstall Termius.

  3. Start Termius and go to Settings.

  4. Under the Profile section, tap your e-mail.

  5. Under the My Data section, tap Restore Subscription. Your subscription should become active. You can switch to a different Apple ID if needed.

If you installed and purchased Termius using the same Apple ID:

  1. Make sure you use the latest version of Termius.

  2. Start Termius and go to Settings.

  3. Under the Profile section, tap Restore Subscription. At this point, the problem should be gone, but if not, then proceed to the next step.

  4. Navigate to the iOS settings and then to the iTunes & App Store section.

  5. Sign out from your Apple ID.

  6. Repeat steps 1-3. Enter your Apple ID, when prompted.
